The most important automotive event in the world, the Detroit Auto Show 2009 (Naias) will take place on January 11-25 at Cobo Center in Detroit, Michigan. From Jan 11-16 it will be open for media and industry insiders. The schedule of the event in these days is as follows:

Jan 17-25 are the public days, when the show will be open to the general public. Nearly 1 million people are expected to visit the exhibition, as 2008 had more than 700,000 attendees.

From 18-20th February 2009, the Omni Orlando Resort at Champions Gate, near Orlando, Florida, will host the National Auto Glass Conference, an event for executives of the autoglass industry.
According to Glassfiles, the event will feature some seminars and auto glass installation demonstrations, so that guests can acquire more knowledge to apply into their businesses.
Do you like bikes? If you do, know that the North American International Motorcycle Supershow 2009 will take place in the next winter, from 2-4 January 2009, at the Toronto International Centre (map below).
In this year (2008), there were over 1,000 bikes and 500 exhibitors including motorcycle and parts dealers, special guests like Helen Twowheels and others, motorcycle seminars and more, in 7 halls occupying 425,000 square feet of attractions for motorcycle fans.

From 12-17th January 2009, the New Munich Trade Fair Centre will host BAU 2009 trade fair - Architecture, Materials and Systems - a construction industry related fair. There will be a variety of themes in the expositions, but the main themes that will be present in most of the exhibitions will be energy-efficient buildings, renovations and modernisation and inclusive design.
